Steam Pub - Aug 24, 2022

Another Wednesday, another wing night, this time in a great Southampton location, the Steam Pub (https://www.steampub.com/). This building used to be an old Train Station, they say there's an incredible history, but I spent some time researching and can't find anything incredible outside of the photos that they have posted on their website (so no back story this time...)

7 of the Wing Crew decided to head down to this establishment, in all honesty it's a bar with some tables. Don't let that stop you from bringing the little ones, there are tables and they have a large selection of items on their menu, including a kids menu and a  nice list of beers for the adults with over 20 to choose from. 

As with the other locations we have visited, we rate on the following items on a scale of 1-5 with 1 being 'don't waste your time' and 5 being 'you gotta try this place'

Service was great, server was very attentive and wings and beverages came out within a reasonable amount of time. We did ask for extra crispy, but the cook decided we really didn't want that or maybe that was extra crispy (if that's the case, I'd hate to see normal). Sauce had an issue with staying on the wing, most of it just fell to the bottom of the basket and some of the baskets were lite on sauce. 

Flavors you ask? They had many, we went with Hot, Garlic Hot, Honey Hot, Bang Bang, Sweet and Spicy Siracha Agave and...well, Hot again. They had breaded wings, we had to give em a go :-) 

why did I bother typing the sauces out, we took a picture of our little flags...oh that's right, we're next level now, we have flags for our baskets so we're not asking constantly 'what flavor is this?'
